Found
Do buyers find you when they look?
What it checks
- Writes the searches your buyers actually run and checks Google for you and your competitor
- Asks ChatGPT and Perplexity the same buyer questions and records who they recommend
- For local businesses, checks your Google Maps rank and your reviews against the local leader
Understood
Can search engines and AI assistants read your site?
What it checks
- Structured data that says what your business is
- A clear H1 on the homepage
- A sitemap
- Whether your robots.txt lets AI crawlers in
- How fast your homepage loads
- Whether your homepage has enough text to say what you do
Chosen
Once a buyer lands, can they get to yes?
What it checks
- A real browser walks your site like a buyer heading for the sign-up, booking or contact page, taking screenshots on the way
- How many clicks it takes to get there
- Whether pricing is visible
- Whether there is proof, like results and customer stories, on the path
- How long the form is, and whether there is a booking calendar
Software companies also get a pricing-page grade in the full report when we can reach their pricing page. It doesn't count toward your score.
Built from checks, not guesses.
- Step 1
You enter your site
How
Add a competitor if you have one in mind. Leave it blank and it picks one from your category, and the report tells you it did.
- Step 2
It works out your type of business
How
Software company, local service business or B2B service firm. That decides what gets checked and how much each check counts. Maps matters for a plumber; it does not for a software company.
- Step 3
It runs the checks
How
The buyer searches, the AI answers, Maps for local businesses, the site checks and the walk through your site. You watch each one land as it happens.
- Step 4
It scores only what it could check
How
Each part gets a score out of 100, and the overall score weighs the three parts for your type of business. A check that could not run shows as not checked and is left out. It never counts as 0.
- Step 5
It writes your read
How
Three lines: where you stand, what is holding you back, and what to do first, plus your fixes in order. The read is written by AI, but it can only use facts the checks found. It does not invent numbers.
- Step 6
Your report opens here
How
The full report opens on this page as soon as it is done. We also email you a link to it, so you can come back later.
Buyers shortlist before they talk to you.
Three places you lose them:
- 1.They never see you
- 2.They can't tell what you do
- 3.They can't find the next step

Whether you sell software, run an agency or fix roofs, most buyers make their shortlist on their own. They search Google, ask ChatGPT or Perplexity, check Maps if they need someone local, then click through to a few sites. By the time they fill in a form or pick up the phone, the choice is mostly made.
Most audits look at one of those steps. The Growth Read looks at all three, in the order a buyer moves through them, so you can see which one is costing you first and fix that before anything else.
Against free AI checkers, SEO audits and doing it yourself.
| What | Growth Read | Free AI-visibility checkers | SEO audits | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Where it looks for you | Google buyer searches, ChatGPT and Perplexity answers, and Google Maps for local businesses | AI answers, usually only those | Google rankings for keywords | Whatever searches you think to run |
| Whether your site can be read | Structured data, H1, sitemap, AI crawler access, load time and homepage text | Sometimes, briefly | Yes, in depth | Hard without tools |
| Whether a buyer can get to yes | A real browser walks your site to the conversion point, with screenshots | No | No | Yes, if you can see your own site fresh |
| Competitor | One you name, or one picked from your category, side by side | Varies | Keyword overlap, not buyer searches | By hand, one search at a time |
| Fits your kind of business | Checks and weights change for software, local service and B2B service | One size | One size | Yes, but slowly |
| Missing data | Shown as not checked, never scored as 0 | Often not said | Often not said | You know what you skipped |
| What you get | A score, a three-line read and your fixes in order, in minutes | A visibility score | A long list of issues | Your own notes, days later |
| Price | Free. The full report opens right away | Free tier, paid to go deeper | Free tools to paid audits | Free, but it costs you days |

What does the Growth Read cost?
Nothing, and no card. You give your first name and work email when you start, and the full report opens on this page as soon as it is done.
How long does it take?
Usually 2 to 4 minutes. You watch it work: each step, each search and the screenshots as they come in. If you reload the tab, it picks up where it left off.
What happens to my email?
We send you one email with a link to your finished report, so you can come back to it later. Our team sees who asked for a report so we can follow up about it. We do not sell your email or share it.
What's in the free report?
All of it is free: your score out of 100, the three part scores, how you compare with one competitor in buyer searches and AI answers, a three-line read, every check with what it found, the whole walk with screenshots and the full list of fixes. There is also a cost calculator: a rough range worked out from numbers you enter, not a forecast.
Which kinds of business is it for?
Any business that is already selling: software companies, agencies and B2B service firms, and local service businesses. It works out which kind you are from your site and adjusts what it checks. Google Maps only counts for local businesses, and how much each check matters shifts with the type.
Why give a score at all?
A number shows where you stand at a glance and makes it easy to see whether a fix moved it. The score is built only from checks that ran. Anything we could not check shows as not checked and is left out, never counted as 0. The three part scores show where the points were lost.
